The value of a book is determined by many factors including rarity, importance, completeness, condition, provenance, and distinguishing features such as signatures or annotations etc. These factors are best interpreted by a competent professional in the field of rare books and manuscripts.
We will do our best to provide free evaluations of books based upon the American auction records (ABPC- American Book Prices Current). Even rare books tend to have previous auction records and comparable records often are a very good indicator of current value and what you can expect a dealer to pay for your rare books.
